The suspects are from Westminster.
Two Union Bridge men were arrested in Frederick over the weekend following two residential burglaries. David Nowalk, 20, and Seth Smart, 29, are both charged with 3rd- and 4th-degree breaking and entering, 2nd-degree assault and malicious destruction of property.
Police say they were called to the 500 block of Smoketree Road at around 1:37 AM on Sunday for a breaking and entering. They also receive a call around 1:50 AM for another burglary in the 100 block of Deerfield Drive.
Authorities say both breakings and enterings are related, and the victims and the suspects knew each other as they were involved in an ongoing dispute.
Police say the two suspects assaulted residents inside the homes, and destroyed numerous items.
Nowalk and Smart were located a few hours later, and taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
The victims suffered minor injuries.
