A Frederick man is facing a bevy of charges after police arrested him Thursday for an armed robbery in Westminster one week prior.
Dwayne Tyson Magruder, 30, of the unit block of E. All Saints St., is charged with first-degree assault, first-degree burglary, armed robbery and other related charges.
On May 23, he broke into a home on the 100 block of Charles Street in Westminster armed with a metal pipe and demanding money from two occupants, according to charging documents.
Magruder and an unidentified second suspect left the home after stealing an ammunition box with $10 worth of "junk" inside, according to charging documents.
Magruder is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center on $100,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled June 28 in Carroll County Circuit Court.
