They were arrested following a traffic stop.
Two Frederick men are charged with drug offenses following a traffic stop on Thursday. Marques Ervin Horton, 28, and Levon Duval Hallenbaeck, Sr., 32, were taken into custody after a police officer pulled their vehicle over in Mullenix Alley.
Authorities say Horton was the driver, and he was wearing headphones while operating a vehicle. A routine check revealed that Horton's license to drive was suspended.
A police canine was brought to the scene, and indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Officers found marijuana and PCP.
Horton is charged with wearing headphones while driving, driving on a suspended license both in state nd out of state, and possession of PCP. Hallenbaeck, the passenger, is charged with two counts each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of PCP.
Police say both men were taken to the Adult Detention Center without incident.
