Current board dragging their feet on Walmart proposal.
A local citizen, who is running for a seat on the Frederick City Board of Alderman, says she's concerned about how the current board is dragging their feet on the Walmart proposal. "I think we've spent a lot of time just talking about things over the last four years," said Katie Nash. "Walmart presented a decent site plan. We have a big public hearing coming. I will certainly be watching that very closely. But beyond that public hearing, it's time to make a decision, yes or no," continued Nash. "My hope is if they decide no, then there is some real justification on the impact of jobs, and the impact on city taxes."
Mrs. Nash made the announcement that she will run for Alderman during a gathering Monday evening at Lohr's Restaurant.
