The Middletown Dream Raffle has been extended until September 13th! The drawing will now be held at 7:30p.m., at the Hollow Creek Golf Club, Middletown, MD.
Tickets are only $100 for a chance to win a luxury brick front colonial worth an estimated $475,000. Built in 2002, the four bedroom, 3 and a half bath, two car garage home sits on almost 3/4 of an acre in sought after Cone Branch Estates, in Middletown, MD.
Sponsored by the Middletown High School Sport Club (MHSSC), proceeds will go towards helping to pay off existing loans related to the high school stadium renovation project and future improvements. The improvements have been made without any public funding from the county's school system. The stadium, built in 1974, has been the home for numerous state championships in track and field, cross-country, girls and boys soccer and football. Improvements to the complex have brought new energy and opportunities to the area. The Maryland Terrapins football team held an open-to-the-public, full contact spring practice here and Towson University has used the field for its Western Maryland football combines. The stadium has also hosted the Frederick County Band competition two consecutive years as well as multiple All-Star LAX games. "We are proud to be a hub for the greater community, said Keith Powell, president of the MHSCC. This fundraiser will allow us to close the door on phase 1 improvements and continue building for the future."
The home was donated by Mark and Donna Gaver, of Middletown, MD. "We are having an open house on Sunday, August 11th, for anyone who would like to see the house," said Powell. "It's from 11 am - 4pm," he continued.
