This test is taking place prior to the Sept. 10th Primary.
The City of Frederick says it will test its voting system to determine if it will properly count the votes casts for all offices in the 2013 Primary Election next month.
The Board of Supervisors of Elections says the test of the optical scan system will take place on Wednesday, September 4th at 2:00 PM at the Department of Public Works on Airport Drive. It will cover the system used in polling places and for absentee balloting.
The Primary Election for Mayor and Board of Aldermen will take place on Tuesday, September 10th.
