The second person involved in two bank robberies in Carroll County has been taken into custody. The Sheriff's Office says Deanna Lorraine Dodd, 35, was apprehended Thursday morning at a motel in Takoma Park. She is charged with two counts each of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft and 2nd-degree assault.
Dodd was arrested in connection with the September 18th and 24th robberies of the New Windsor Bank branch on Main Street in New Windsor.
Her alleged accomplice, Jeffrey Barry Thompson, 54, was arrested in Baltimore at a Motel 6. The Sheriff's Office says he admitted to robbing the bank on September 24th. He also said Dodd robbed the bank on September 18th, and he was the driver, according to authorities.
The Sheriff's Office says the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team and Montgomery County Police assisted in Dodd's arrest.
Authorities say Thompson is a Baltimore residents, and Dodd's last known address was in Baltimore.
