The suspect that Maryland State Police, in Hagerstown, were looking for, who was involved in a hit and run collision on October 24th, on I-81, has been identified and charged.
Authorities had issued a press release to the public on the morning of the accident, requesting information on a white Saturn Vue, with Pennsylvania registration plates and heavy front end damage.
The investigation revealed that 27 year old Amanda West, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, was driving her 2006 Saturn Vue southound on I-81, just prior to Halfway Boulevard, and struck the rear of a gray Toyota Camry, driven by David Robinson, of Hagerstown. Robinson lost control of his vehicle and it overturned off the roadway, police said.
