A Williamsport woman who was injured in a traffic accident that claimed the life of a North Carolina man earlier this week remained in critical condition Friday at a Baltimore hospital.
Kelsey Michele Gray, 21, was listed in critical condition at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Maryland State Police said the accident happened on Md. 65 at about 3:20 a.m., when Gray was riding as a passenger in a Ford Focus being driven by Robert Clay Sanderson, 31, of Charlotte, N.C.
Troopers said the car failed to negotiate a turn and flipped over in a field north of Lappans Road (Md. 68).
Sanderson was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Gray was flown by helicopter to Shock Trauma.
