Charges are pending against a third person.
Three search and seizure warrants were served in Brunswick Tuesday night, and two suspects were arrested on drug offenses. Marcus Henderson, 22, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of morphine, and possession of paraphernalia. Robert Fitz, Jr., 57, is charged with distribution of heroin, two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Authorities say charges are pending against a third person identified as Melinda Osretskar, 46, of Brunswick. She's expected to be charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A news release from the Frederick Police Department says Henderson was released on personal recognizance, and Fitz is being held on $95,000 bond.
Officers apprehended these two men after serving the warrants at 117 East Potomac Street, which is Henderson residence; at 123 East Potomac Street, which is Fitz's residence; and a third one 32 East E Street, which is Osretkar's residence.
They also recovered heroin, marijuana, prescription medications and drug paraphernalia.
The three search and seizure warrants resulted from a two-month long investigation by Brunswick Police, Frederick Police, the Frederick County Narcotics Task Force and the Maryland State Police.
