One person was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown after being injured in a hit and run crash.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says a blue Dodge Caravan was stopped at the red light at the intersection of Maugans Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue north of Hagerstown Friday evening when it was struck from behind.
The striking vehicle fled the scene. It's described as a dark colored mini-van, but there were no witnesses present at the scene to confirm it.
