The Roddy Road covered bridge over Owens Creek near Thurmont  has been reopened.  The Frederick County Office of Highway Operations says the span was closed  after it was damaged by a vehicle accident, but crews were able to make repairs so it's now open to traffic again. 

The historic covered bridge is located at Roddy Creek Road and Roddy Road.
