Thurmont, Md (KM). In the audience for Tuesday night’s State of the Union Address being delivered by President Trump will be Thurmont Mayor John Kinnaird. He says he was invited to attend by 8th District Representative Jaime Raskin.
During an appearance on Tuesday on WFMD’s “Morning News Express” with Bob Miller, Kinnaird said he met Raskin many times during he was campaigning for the House of Representatives. “He’s an enjoyable man to talk to. He’s called me about some things. I’ve called him about a few issues. We have respect for each other,” Mayor Kinnaird said.
The Mayor also called this a “highlight” in his life.
The State of the Union Address is scheduled for 9:00 PM on Tuesday.
