Coronavirus deaths also go up in both counties.
Frederick, Md (KM) A big jump has been reported in the number of COVID-19 cases in Frederick County.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the Health Department says there are 1,114 coronavirus cases in the county, an increase of 45 since Monday.. The number deaths has reached 70, .which is up from 68 on Monday.
In the Washington County, the Joint Information Center says the number of COVID-19 cases stands at 246 as of Tuesday afternoon, an increase of eight from Monday. The number of deaths is now eight,. up by two from Monday.
The Maryland Department of Health reports as of Tuesday evening, the number of COVID-19 cases statewide totals 27,117, an increase of 709 as of Tuesday. The number of deaths stand at 1,290, up by 74 from Monday.
