Frederick County COVID-19 Cases Increase, But At A Slow Rate

The number of deaths remains the same.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) COVID-19 cases continue to increase at a slow rate in Frederick County. The Health Department says as of Tuesday afternoon, there are 2,551 cases of the coronavirus. That’s three more than on Monday. The number of deaths remains at 113, no change from the day before.

The seven-day positivity rate is 2.2%. . That’s the percentage of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 out of all of the tests conducted over a seven-day period.

The Joint Information Center reports that there are 688 coronavirus cases in Washington County as of Tuesday afternoon, that’s six more than the day before. There are 29 deaths reported, an increase of one from the day before.
