Parts of the region are under a winter storm warning.

Frederick County MD public schools and offices – two hour delay – Morning PreK and Career and Technology Center (CTC) start 2 hours late and dismiss 1 hour later than usual. PM PreK* starts 1 hour later than usual and dismisses at the regular time. PM CTC starts 40 minutes later than usual and dismisses at the regular time. Charter School pre-k classes canceled. Staff reports on a 2-hour delay, reevaluation by 7 AM.

Maryland School for the Deaf closed today.

Montgomery County Public Schools closed Monday, Jan. 3, due to expected severe weather. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. All school administrative offices and central offices will open on a two-hour delay.

Montgomery County Circuit Court will be closed today.

Loudoun County Public Schools are now closed and administrative offices are closed. All activities are canceled for today.

Maryland State Government – Washington, Frederick and Carroll County Offices are on liberal leave.
