Mobile Home Fire In Clear Spring Under Investigation

A fire on the porch damaged the exterior of the home.

Clear Spring, Md. (NS) – The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a porch fire on a mobile home in Clear Spring.

On Thursday, June 9, just before 1 a.m., the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 12,000 block of Big Pool Road for a mobile home on fire.

26 firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames on the porch and exterior, but not before the home sustained $2,000 in damages.

The homeowner discovered the fire and the building was not equipped with a fire alarm.
