MIDDLETOWN, MD. (May 22, 2025)—On May 21, 2025, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO)
detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested a registered sex
offender at his Middletown residence following an investigation into the possession and distribution of
child pornography.

The investigation began on April 24, 2025, after receiving a cybertip from the National Center for Missing
and Exploited Children (NCMEC). ICAC detectives launched an immediate investigation and identified the
suspect as Andrew Brock, 25, of Middletown, a registered sex offender residing in Frederick County.

During the investigation, detectives uncovered dozens of files containing child sexual abuse material
within Brock’s social media accounts. Based on these findings, a search warrant was executed at Brock’s
residence in the 7100 block of Crystal Court in Middletown. Numerous electronic devices were seized at
the scene.

Brock was arrested and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center (FCADC), where he
is charged with 39 counts of distribution of child pornography and 34 counts of possession of child
pornography.

This investigation remains active as detectives continue efforts to identify minor victims who may have
communicated with Brock.
