Frederick, Md (KM) With the general election coming up next month, Frederick City officials are reminding citizens to make a plan to vote. Election day is Tuesday, November 4th, where citizens will decide on a Mayor and seven members of the City Council..
But for those who want to vote early, the polls will be set up at the Trinity Recreation Center, 6040 New Design Road on October 24th and the 25th from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM each day.
General election ballots were sent out by mail starting on October 5th. Residents can vote by mail, but their ballots must be postmarked by November 4th, and be received by November 7th.
These citizens can also place their ballots in one of six drop boxes around Frederick by 8:00 PM on November 4th. . The drop boxes are located at the Bourne Building, 355 Montevue Lane, Frederick; Hillcrest Commons, 1150 Orchard Terrace., Frederick; Talley Recreation Center, 121 North Bentz Street, Frederick; Housing Authority Office, 209 Madison Street, Frederick; Governor Thomas Johnson High School, 1501 North Market Street, Frederick; and Frederick Community College, 7932 Oposumtown Pike, Frederick.
Voting in person will take place on election day at the Trinity Recreation Center on New Design Road on Tuesday, November 4th between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. .
