The Frederick Police Department has arrested a Williamsport man in connection with a homicide that occurred last month in the City of Frederick.
Police say Terrance Jermain Oney, 44, was taken into custody during the early morning hours of February 3, 2026, by detectives with the department’s Major Crimes Unit. Authorities report the arrest was made without incident, and Oney was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
The arrest stems from a stabbing reported at approximately 6:01 a.m. on January 26, 2026, in the 1200 block of Danielle Drive. Responding officers and detectives found three people inside the residence suffering from stab-related injuries.
One of the victims, Tia Channelle Holland, 44, of Frederick, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional victims were injured, including one juvenile. Due to safety concerns and the ongoing investigation, police are not releasing identifying information about the surviving victims.
Oney has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and three counts of first-degree assault.
