Frederick, Md. (DG) – A Frederick man is facing multiple drug and obstruction charges after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office say they stopped a vehicle near Taney Avenue and Homestead Avenue for a traffic violation shortly before 3 a.m. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Jordan Perry-Walker of Frederick, got out of the vehicle, refused commands, and ran from deputies. After a brief foot pursuit, he was taken into custody.
Authorities say deputies found PCP and cannabis on Perry-Walker, and additional drugs were discovered during a search of his vehicle. He was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and is charged with felony possession of PCP, LSD, or hallucinogens with intent to distribute, obstruction of law enforcement, and other offenses.
