Sykesville, Md (KM) Damage is estimated at $10,000 from a car fire in Carroll County on Wednesday.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says just before 6:00 PM, fire fighters responded to 1255 Pounder Road in Sykesville for a 2006 Mazda3 on fire. They spent 20 minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.
Investigators say the fire originated in the engine compartment. The cause is under investigation.
