Campaign Signs From Primary Election Polling Sites Need To Come Down

The deadline was the morning after election day.

Frederick, Md. (KM) – Primary candidates are asked to take down their campaign signs locatedĀ  at election day polling places. . The Frederick County Board of Elections says the deadline for the signs to be removed was Wednesday, July 20th at 8:00 AM .

In a statement, the Board says it’s important for candidates to be respectful of these locations and take down these signs as soon as possible “as a way of joining the Board of Elections board and staff in thanking them {polling sites} for hosting Frederick County voters as they exercise their right to vote.”

“We would certainly not want to lose any of our locations due to a large number of signs not being removed,” the statement goes on to say.
