Frederick Police Investigate Shots-Fired Incident On Tuesday

One house was struck by a bullet.

Frederick, Md. (KM) – A shots-fired incident is under investigation in Frederick.

Late Tuesday afternoon, police responded to the area of Hillcrest Elementary School for a group of men acting suspiciously. . While in  route, officers received additional reports that the group was chasing another individual and shots were fired.

Authorities say when they arrived, they looked around for a victim or suspects. Additional units arrived on the scene including a K-Nine Officer and the Major Crimes Unit. But no suspects or a victim was found. . But Investigators say they located two shell casings and a home that had been struck by a bullet.

Detectives say this is an active investigation, and anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Frederick Police.
