Jury selection continued.
Frederick, Md. (KM) – Jury selection continued on Tuesday in the trial of Jason Michael Colley, 42. The Monrovia man is charged with 1st-degree child abuse resulting in death, 1st-degree child abuse resulting in severe physical injury and 1st-degree assault. These charges are in connection with the death of Colley’s six-month-old daughter in September, 2017.
Prosecutors says the girl sustained blunt force trauma. Colley’s attorneys say their client is innocent.
Jury selection could continue on Wednesday, says a spokesman for the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office.
