* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of north-central and western Maryland, the
northern Shenandoah Valley in northwestern Virginia, and the
eastern panhandle of West Virginia, including the following areas:
in Maryland, Frederick and Washington. In Virginia, Clarke,
Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren. In West Virginia,
Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy
rainfall rates may result in several instances of flash
flooding through late afternoon.
