Frederick County Grand Jury Returns Seven Indictments

These cases will be moved to the Circuit Court.

Frederick Md (KM) Seven indictments were returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury.

The panel charged:

*Lavitira Leshea Edmond, 29, of Frederick, who is charged with 1st degree assault, conspiracy to commit 1st degree assault, two counts of 2nd degree assault, aggravated animal cruelty and animal cruelty for an incident which occurred on November 21st, 2022.

Two co-defendants:

*Brandon Herberth Joya-Euceda, 19, of Thurmont, Md. who is charged with 1st degree assault, conspiracy to commit 1st degree assault, three counts of 2nd degree assault and reckless endangerment.

*Luis Angel Ochoa, 19, of Thurmont, Md, who is charged with 1st degree assault, conspiracy to commit 1st degree assault, and two counts of 2nd degree assault.

Both Joya-Euceda and Ochoa are charged for an incident which occurred on October 22nd, 2022.

*Tyler Mason Smith-Andrews, 23,  of Frederick, who is charged with four counts of 4th general burglary, attempted 2nd degree general burglary, four counts of 4th degree storehouse burglary, 4th degree burglary, three counts of theft, theft between $100 to $1500, ten counts of malicious destruction of property, two counts of 4th degree burglary (burglary tools), unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, theft between $25,000 and $100,000 and unauthorized taking of a motor vehicle for incidents which occurred on October 26th and November 2nd, 2022.

A supplemental indictment  was retuned for James Lewis Eldridge, 55.of Frederick, who is charged with 2nd degree general burglary, 4th degree warehouse burglary, 4th degree burglary and theft less than $100 for an incident which occurred on May 17th, 2022. He had been indicted in June on similar charges.

*Derrick John Willoughby, 24, of Frederick, who is charged with 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault and reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on November 27th, 2022.

*Marcus Gregory Marshall, 37, of Hagerstown, Md. who is charged with 1st degree assault, three counts of 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment and resisting and interfering with an arrest for an incident which occurred on November 24th, 2022.

The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says an indictment is a charging document alleging criminal conduct and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
