Fire Fighter Injured Fighting House Fire In Garrett County

State Fire Marshal’s Office)McHenry, Md (KM) One fire fighter suffered non-life threatening injuries while fighting a house fire in Garrett County early Monday morning.At around 1:11 AM, personnel were dispatched to 148 Kathys Way in McHenry for a two-story, wood frame, single-family home on fire. They spent one hour bringing the flames under control.The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the damage from the fire is estimated at $500,000.. The cause remains under investigation.The residents were away at the time of the fire.By Kevin McManus
