These cases move to Circuit Court.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury returned eight indictments on Friday.
The panel charged Dante Martes Whiten, 52, of Frederick with three counts each of armed robbery and second-degree assault; two counts of theft between $100 to $1500, and one count of theft less than $100; and theft scheme between $100 and $1500..
Whiten was charged by Frederick Police with three commercial robberies between September 16th, 2022, and February 8th, 2023..
Also indicted was Aaron-Patrick Vincent Williams, 31, of Frederick, who is charged with possession of a large amount of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and LSD, along with possession with intent to distribute those substances. He was also indicted for possession with intentĀ to distribute and possession of dimethylpentylone; use of a firearm in drug trafficking; distribution of drugsĀ with a firearm; having a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and having a handgun in a vehicle.
Williams was pulled over by Frederick Police Tactical Investigations officers in March, 2023. A search was conducted on his vehicle, where large quantities of drugs, a digital scale, cocaine residue and a loaded Glock 42 handgun.
Other indictments returned on Friday by the Grand Jury are;
*Daniel Hamilton Buchanan, 20, of Middletown, d. who is charged with two counts of promotion and distribution of child pornography, and five counts of possession of child pornography for offenses which occurred between April 15th, 2022 to February 20th, 2023.
*Mackenzie Elliott, 32, of Rosedale, Md., who charged with two counts of 2nd-degree child abuse by a custodian; two counts of 2nd-degree assault, and one count of making a false statement to an officer for offenses which occurred between February 2nd, 2023 to March 14th, 2023.
*James Allen Shore, 30, of Baltimore, Md, who is charged with possession of a firearm with a conviction for a violent offense; illegal possession of a regulated firearm; having a loaded handgun in a vehicle; having a handgun in a vehicle; illegal possession of ammunition; exceeding the maximum posted speed limit; driving without a license; two counts of driving while suspended; and one count of driving while revoked for an offense which occurred on March 15th, 2023.
*Kevin Derek Toney, 25, of Baltimore, Md., who is charged with three counts of 2nd-degree general burglary; three counts of 4th degree theft; three counts of 4th-degree storehouse burglary; and two counts of theft between $100 and $1500 for an offense which occurred on December 12th, 2022.
*April Marie Evans, 24, of Rocky Ridge, Md., who is charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of Ketamine; possession with intent to distribute and possession of Psilocyn; possession with intent to distribute and possession of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine; possession with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine; possession with intent to distribute and possession of Alprazolam; and possession of paraphernalias (scales for cocaine) for an offense which occurred on February 21st, 2023.
*Boyd James Deckert Webb, 43, of New Windsor, Md., who is charged with 1st-degree assault’ 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on March 17th, 2023.
These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documentsĀ alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
