Frederick County Grand Jury Returns Eight Indictments

These cases now move to Circuit Court.

Frederick, Md (KM) Eight indictments were returned Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury. They are:

*Eugene Musial Henderson, 73, of Frederick, Md., who is charged with 2nd-degree child abuse; 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on April 29th, 2023.

*Serina Resha McTaggart-Duncan, 44, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on May 3rd, 2023.

*Tommy Beecher Cupp, 54, of Rocky Ridge, Md, who is charged with sex abuse of a minor and 2nd-degree rape for an offense which occurred between April 3rd, 2022 to March 31st, 2023.

*Sidney Anthony Jones, 54, of Frederick, Md,  who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense  which occurred on April 27, 2023.

*Dakem Edward Thomas Johnson, 39, of Frederick, Md, who is charged with two counts of attempted robbery; one count of 2nd-degree burglary-general; 4th-degree burglary-theft; five counts of theft less than $100; one count of robbery; two counts of 2nd-degree assault; and two counts of attempted 4th-degree burglary of a dwelling for an offense which occurred on April 24th, 2023.

*James Jerome Stokes; 33, of Frederick, Md who is charged with two counts distribution, two counts of  possession with intent to distribute and two counts of possession of cocaine for offenses which occurred on April 5th and April 19th, 2023.

*Terry Andrew Hayslett, 44, of Walkersville, Md, who is charged with two counts of 1st-degree assault; two counts of 2nd-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on April 13th, 2023.

*Jason Thompson, 44, of Adamstown, Md, who is charged armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, robbery; conspiracy to commit robbery; 1st-degree assault; conspiracy to commit 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault; use of a firearm in a crime of violence; and theft between $100 to $1500 for an offense which occurred on April 8th, 2021.

These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
