There is no suspect in custody.
Silver Spring, Md. (BW)- Montgomery County police are investigating a homicide that occurred on Wednesday, July 6.
After receiving reports of a shooting, officers responded to the 11500 block of Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring where they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in an apartment unit.
The victim was identified as 40-year-old Cederic Allen Warner of Silver Spring.
Police provided life saving measures until Fire Rescue services arrived and took over.
Warner was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore to determine the official cause and manner of death.
There is no suspect in custody. This is an active investigation.
