Frederick, Md (KM ) A fatal pedestrian accident on Tuesday afternoon in the 6400 block of Towncrest Court West in Frederick remains under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office says Grace Demetrius, 47, of Frederick, was attempting to fix a part on her vehicle while underneath it. The vehicle backed over and pinned her, causing her death.
Deputies and fire and rescue responded to the scene, and pronounced Demetrius dead.
Her body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is handling this investigation.
