He was arrested for other charges on July 31.
Frederick, Md. (BW)- The suspect of a shooting that occurred on Saturday, July 15 of this year has been arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder.
The suspect is identified as 37-year-old Anthony Green from Washington D.C.
Green was involved in an argument with another individual in the 8100 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring shortly before 2 p.m. The victim intervened and was shot in the torso twice.
The victim then walked into a fire station on the same block where he was then transported to an area hospital to treat his life threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police developed Green as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant on July 25.
He was arrested on July 31 and is held in D.C. for unrelated charges.
