Ignited Brush Pile In Hagerstown Leaves One With Burn Injury

The injured party called Emergency Medical Services.

Hagerstown, Md. (BW)- One individual was injured due to a burn from a brush pile in Hagerstown Tuesday, August 16.

Around 11:19 a.m. Washington County EMS was dispatched to 14431 Black Angus Road for a burn injury.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the victim was trying to ignite a brush pile in their backyard when they were burned from the ignition of flammable gasoline vapors.

The victim was transported by EMS.
