Frederick, Md. (BW)- The passenger of a car was killed in a single vehicle accident in the early morning of Thursday, August 17.
At approximately 3:20 a.m. Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Winchester Boulevard near Mountville Road in Adamstown for reports of a single vehicle crash involving a 2022 Nissan Altima.
The passenger in the vehicle was identified as 24-year-old Kelby Ryan Lester from Berkley Springs, West Virginia. Emergency Medical Services pronounced Lester dead at the scene.
The driver of the car fled the scene following the crash. Deputies are still trying to make contact with the driver.
