It’s in honor of Veterans Day.
Frederick, Md (KM) Some Frederick County Government offices will be closed on Friday, November 10th in honor of Veterans Day.
The administrative offices for Animal Control will be closed along with the kennel. But officers will be on routine duty.
The solid waste facility at Reichs Ford Road will be open on Saturday, November 11th. That includes the Transfer Station, Yard Waste and Compost Programs, the Citizens Convenience Center and the Recycling Center. They will be open from 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM. The administrative and customer service offices will be operating on a limited basis.
Frederick County Public Libraries will be closed on Friday, November 10th, and Saturday, November 11th. Curbside pickup will not be available.
TransIT offices will be closed, and all services will be canceled for the Veterans Day holiday. MARC Train and the 204, 505 and 515 MDOT MTA Commuter Bus service will be canceled.
Other offices closed on Friday, November 10th include the Board of Elections, the Department of Social Serviceds, the Health Department, and the Frederick County Courts and State’s Attorney’s Office.
All other county offices will be closed.
County Government facilities will reopen on Monday, November 13th at their regular hours.
