It’s a new position for Frederick County Public Schools.
Frederick, Md (LPG) Frederick County Public Schools will have a Executive Director of Systemwide Operations, which is a new position for the school system. . Dr. Daniel Lippy was appointed to the position by Superintendent Cheryl Dyson.
“We are thrilled Dr. Lippy will be serving in this position,”: says Dr. Cheryl Dyson, Superintendent of Schools, in a statement. “Dr. Lippy’s wealth of leadership experiences and ability to effectively collaborate will greatly contribute to our district’s operational excellence.”
Lippy has been working for FCPS for 29 years. He has worn many hats for the school system, including serving as a social studies teacher, assistant principal and a principal.
Not only is Dr. Lippy a FCPS graduate, but he has been an adjunct professor at Mount Saint Mary’s University and McDaniel College.
Lippy’s new position becomes effective January 1st, 2024.
