One person has been charged.

Rockville, Md (KM) A state trooper assigned to the Rockville Barrack was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after being injured in a vehicle crash.
State Police say troopers responded at around 11:00 PM to the area of Northbound Interstate 270 at Tuckerman Lane for a report of flooding. One of the troopers was sitting in his marked State Police cruiser with its emergency lights activated. The trooper was diverting traffic away from a flooded area when his vehicle was struck in the rear.
The operator of the striking vehicle identified as Collin Rono, 21, of Potomac was taken into custody. He’s charged with driving under the influence.
The trooper who was injured was transported to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda for treatment. He has since been released.
State Police say this crash remains under investigation.
