Frederick, Md (KM) A budget hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 4th, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM at Winchester Hall. The event is being held by County Executive Jessica Fitzwater who says it’s an opportunity for citizens to offer their suggestions and priorities for fiscal year 2025 which begins on July 1st , 2024.
They can provide their comments in person, on line or by phone. For those attending in person, Winchester Hall is located at 12 East Church Street. Parking is available on the street, or in the parking decks. TransIT’s fare free buses make stops near Winchester Hall.
The meeting will be broadcast over cable channels 19 and 1085, and be streamed over the county’s web page, FrederickCountyMD.gov/BudgetPublicHearing. .
Additional listening sessions will be held in each of the county’s five councilmanic districts beginning in January. Times, dates and locations will be announced later in December.
Residents can also listen to the meeting over their mobile phones. They can provide a comment by calling 1-855-925-2801, enter meeting code 10042.
