Winter Storm Warning From 7 AM to 7 PM On Saturday

It covers Frederick and Carroll Counties.

...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
  accumulations of 2 to 7 inches, with the highest amounts along
  and northwest of the Catoctin Mountains and Parr`s Ridge. Total
  ice accumulations of up to one- tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Frederick MD and Carroll Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation is expected to begin as snow
  between 7 AM and 10 AM. The snow will mix with and then change
  to sleet and freezing rain between 1 PM and 4 PM. Precipitation
  may mix with rain after 4 PM, before ending during the mid
  evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
