Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Death As A Homicide

A man’s body was found in a car in Walkersville.Crum Road in Walkersville, Wednesday, Jan. 10th  (Photo from Frederick County Sheriff’s Office)Frederick, Md (KM) Detectives with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a man was found  inside of a car in Walkersville as a homicide.Authorities say on Wednesday  at around 1:32 PM,  deputies were dispatched to the 8200 block of Crum Road for a suspicious vehicle. in a field.   The car’s flashers had been blinking since 7:00 AM that day. . The body of  Brice Wendell Boots, 65, of PIkesville, Maryland was  found deceased inside.A crime scene was established, and Crum Road at Liberty Road to Stauffer Road was closed. The road reopened as of 4:00 PM on Thursday.The investigation into this incident is continuing, and anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office..
