He’s jailed on a -no-bond status.
Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A Germantown man is charged in connection with a fatal accident more than one year ago. Montgomery County Police say Jose Antonio Garcia, 45, was taken into custody on December 23, 2023. He’s charged with manslaughter, negligent homicide and other offenses.
He’s currently being held without bond.
On October 15th, 2022, police say Garcia was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound along Frederick Road when he started to turn left on to Plummer Drive. That’s when the Grand Cherokee struck a Ford F-250 traveling southbound.
A passenger in Garcia’s vehicle, identified as Jose Vidal Urias Beltran, 30. of Germantown was pronounced dead at the scene.
