Suspicious Death In Brunswick Under Investigation

A woman was found dead in her home.Brusnwick, Md (KM) Brunswick Police say the death of a local woman is suspicious.At around 5:48 PM on Monday, officers were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue for a CPR call where they found a woman deceased. She’s identified as Tammy Coates.Authorities say based on several factors at the scene, Coates’ death appears suspicious. The Crime Scene Unit from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office was brought in, and spent the late night to the early morning hours processing the scene.Coates’  body was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.This incident remains under investigation, and anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact Captain Andy Crone at ACrone@frederickcountymd.gov..
