Death Of Brunswick Woman Now Ruled A Homicide

The investigation continues.

Brunswick, Md (KM) The death of a woman in Brunswick this week is now a homicide. Police say that’s the  conclusion comes from the State Medical Examiner’s Office which conducted an autopsy on her body on Tuesday   Authorities did  not list the manner of death.

Late  Monday afternoon, officers were sent to a home in the 300 block of  9th  Avenue for a CPR call. They found the body of Tammy Coates, 61, deceased inside her residence. . At the time, police considered her death suspicious.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit spent  Monday night, and the early morning hours of Tuesday   processing the scene.
