Rockville, Md (KM) In a unanimous vote on Tuesday, the Montgomery County Board of Education appointed Dr. Monique Felder as the interim Superintendent of Schools. She replaces Dr. Monifa McKnight who stepped down last week..
Dr. Feldman was superintendent of Orange County Public Schools in North Carolina.
McKnight and the School System parted ways. She came under fire for several scandals, including the promotion of a Joel Beidleman, a former middle school principal, who was accused of sexually harassing other educators.
