Winter Weather Advisory On Tuesday For Frederick, Carroll Counties

The National Weather Service says there could be some slippery roads on Tuesday.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 1 PM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches,
  with localized amounts up to 5 inches possible near the PA state
  line. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Frederick MD, Carroll, Northern Baltimore and
  Northwest Harford Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain is expected to change to snow between
  3 AM and 5 AM. Snow will be heavy at times, with rates of 1 to
  2 inches per hour through mid morning Tuesday. Visibility may be
  reduced to less than one half mile at times. The combination of
  wet snow and gusty winds could lead to downed trees and power
  lines, resulting in isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
