Elkton, Md. (BW)- A 15-year-old girl who had been missing for four months was recovered on Thursday, Feb 29.
Through an investigation, Elkton Police found information that indicated the girl was travelling to, or already in Illinois and was suspected of being with criminal associates.
The girl was placed with a sponsor in Elkton, MD before she went missing in November 2023.
U.S. Marshalls recovered the girl in Countryside, Illinois in the afternoon of Thursday, Feb 29.
