Three women were arrested.
Frederick, Md (KM) Three women are charged in connection with running a prostitution operation in Frederick. Jinchan Yang, 37, Xiaohing Wan, 47, and Yuxia Chang, 37, were taken into custody on Monday after Frederick Police served search and seizure warrants at five locations and one vehicle in the city. . The suspects are charged with 4th-degree sex offense, 2nd-degree assault, soliciting prostitution and prostitution, police say.
According to the Maryland Judiciary Case Search website, Yang and Chang were released on personal recognizance. There was no information available on Wan’s status.
Authorities say they began their investigation in January, 2024, after receiving anonymous tips about alleged prostitution activities taking place at several massage parlors in Frederick. A detective with the Frederick Police worked with the State’s Attorney’s Office to obtain search and seizure warrants.
The warrants were served on these following locations:
1337 Taney Avenue, Frederick, Md.
1446 Key Parkway, Frederick, Md.
Two Sisters, 178 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, Md
TCM Aroma Therapy, 1517 West Patrick Street, Suite C8, Frederick, Md.
Aromatherapy Body Rub, 93 South McCain Drive, Suite 2, Frederick, Md
And a 2023 Lexus 350
This investigation was a coordinated effort among the Frederick Police, the city’s Code Enforcement Office, The State’s Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s Office and the US Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
