Westminster, Md. (BW)- The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man following a search and seizure of his residence in Westminster.
During the operation, authorities found cocaine, scales, packing materials and a large amount of cash inside the home at 157 Liberty Street.
Police took 31-year-old Damian Garcia-Lopez into custody without incident.
He is being held on a detainer by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement at teh Carroll County Detention Center.
Garcia-Lopez is on a no bond status. He is being charges with possesion of illicit controlled dangerous substances, possesion with intent to distribute and possesion of paranernalia.
Authorities learned that Garcia-Lopez was distributing illegal drugs through an earlier investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office reported this operation on Friday, Mar 8.
