Suspect, Victim, Identified In Fatal Hagerstown Shooting Monday

The suspect is a juvenile who is charged as an adult.

Hagerstown, Md (KM) The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved in the fatal shooting on Monday in Hagerstown. Deputies say Kamari Kenyon Meniefield, 16, has been charged as an adult with 1st-degree murder,  2nd-degree murder, 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment and weapons related offenses. . He is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

The victim in this case is Devin Anthony Meniefield, 23, of Hagerstown.

Authorities say on Monday afternoon, they responded to the 17400 block of Maple Leaf Court for a shooting. They found Devin Meniefield inside of a home with gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries.

Following a search, Kamari Meniefield was located in the 1000 block of Noland Drive and taken into custody without incident.
